Diving Inspections at the Jyväskylä Yacht Club’s Home Harbor
The Jyväskylä Yacht Club’s home harbor is located on Juurikkasaari island in the archipelago district of Jyväskylä, Säynätsalo. The harbor primarily serves as a hub for members’ boating activities, but the guest berths are also available for short-term use by inspected boats sailing under the flag of other clubs.
Unwa Oy was commissioned to perform diving inspections on 130 stern buoys at this location. We inspected the condition of each mooring’s buoy chains and weights. A comprehensive inspection report was provided to the client, highlighting any parts that required repairs. After the inspection, the client ordered the necessary repair work from us, which was carried out according to the agreed plan and cost estimate.
In June 2022, we conducted an inspection of the mooring buoys and chains at the Jyväskylä Yacht Club’s Juurikkasaari harbor. The work was performed by Unwa Oy with great professionalism and efficiency. The inspection report was exceptionally thorough, complete with images and detailed descriptions. Later in the fall, the necessary repairs were also completed by Unwa Oy with the same high level of expertise.
